Squats with Fitball
Place the fitball between your lower back and the wall. Plant your feet shoulder width apart and well forward. Slowly lower yourself until your thighs and calves and at right angles to each other. Slowly push back to the start position.
Muscles
All squats and lunges exercise the thighs, hamstrings and buttocks (glutes). Different positions place different emphases on the muscles and mean that the exercises continue to provide a benefit.
