Beginning Exercise

Running ShoesGoals

From the beginning it is vitally important to set yourself targets and reasons for doing what you have in mind. There will always be times when you will not want to go out and train and it is at these weaker moments when you have to be positive and tell yourself exactly why you are about to go out. Goals could range from walking twice around the local park to running a 10K.

How do I get started?

Getting round to doing that first session can be hard, especially if you are aiming to train by yourself. There are thousands of people who are in a similar situation to you and it will be worth asking around family and friends to find a training buddy, as there may be someone who is ready to embark on a similar journey to fitness.
