There are other ways to improve your performance: through core stability exercises; and strength training which will make you more balanced and powerful.

This type of training can also help with the prevention of injury as your reaction times will be speeded up and you may be less likely to over-extend your muscles, tendons and joints. For more information see the other e-books in this series.
