Looking After Yourself – Resting

It is useful to plan a rest period of a couple of weeks twice a years where you give your body -especially legs – a complete rest. This could be planned for holidays or between the times when you are most active with competitions.

Note

Remember prevention is better than cure: correct running shoes; a forgiving surface; and taking adequate rest go a long way to avoiding injury.
