Race Calendar 2009 – North of England and Beyond
Here are races in Northern England and beyond for the rest of the year. We’ve omitted all those races that we found to be full, cancelled or closed to new entries. All of the local races are fairly close to Yorkshire with some of the larger races from further away also listed. We will keep updating this page.
Steve Haywood is able to assist with training for every distance and will often know organisers and routes if you wish to prepare for a particular race. Click here to contact Steve.

Hi. Wondering if you could help me. I’m hoping to run a marathon in England in 2009, I would love to run one on a Saturday. I know that this is extremely unusual here in Canada.. Wonder if same applies in England. Preferably I’m looking for a Boston Qualifyer. Don’t ask much do I?
Wonder if you could suggest a web site?
Many Thanks, Katherine.
Hi I’m looking for a 10k road run in the northwest of England on the 29 of Nov 09 to fit in with a training schedule can you help?
